GenX

Generation X (Age 4-7)

UKITF Generation X classes are specially designed for children aged 4 to 7, introducing them to Taekwon-Do in a fun, safe, and structured environment. These classes focus on building confidence, coordination, balance, and listening skills while keeping young students active and engaged.

Through age-appropriate drills, games, and basic Taekwon-Do techniques, children learn important life skills such as respect, discipline, focus, and teamwork. Training is delivered in a positive and encouraging way, helping children develop both physically and mentally at a pace that suits their age.

Generation X classes provide an excellent foundation for future Taekwon-Do training, giving children the skills and confidence they need to progress as they growโ€”all while having fun and enjoying being part of a team.

Cadets (Age 7+)

UKITF Cadet classes are designed for children aged 7 and above who are ready to develop their Taekwon-Do skills in a more structured and focused training environment. These classes build on the fundamentals of Taekwon-Do while helping students improve fitness, coordination, flexibility, and self-discipline.

Cadets learn a wider range of techniques, patterns, sparring skills, and self-defence, with an emphasis on correct technique, respect, and personal responsibility. Training encourages goal setting, confidence, and perseverance, helping students grow both as martial artists and individuals.

With experienced instructors and a supportive atmosphere, UKITF Cadet classes challenge students appropriately while keeping training enjoyable, preparing them for long-term progression within Taekwon-Do.

Advanced Cadets (Green Belt +)

UKITF Advanced Cadet classes are for students who have reached green belt and above and are ready to take their Taekwon-Do training to the next level. These classes offer a higher level of challenge, focusing on refining technique, improving power and control, and developing greater understanding of patterns, sparring, and self-defence.

Training places increased emphasis on discipline, leadership, and personal responsibility, encouraging students to set higher goals and take pride in their progress. Advanced Cadets are challenged both physically and mentally, helping them build resilience, confidence, and strong martial arts values.

With expert instruction and a positive, motivating environment, UKITF Advanced Cadet classes prepare students for higher grades while supporting their continued growth as skilled and respectful Taekwon-Do practitioners.

Adults (13+)

UKITF Adult Taekwondo classes are open to anyone aged 13 and over, welcoming complete beginners through to experienced practitioners.ย  This class is ideal for teens, adults, and parents training alongside younger family members in a supportive and motivating environment.

Sessions focus on developing traditional Taekwondo techniques, including kicking, punching, blocking, patterns, sparring skills, and self-defence. Training also improves fitness, flexibility, coordination, confidence, and mental well-being.

Classes are structured but friendly, with exercises adapted to suit different ages, abilities, and fitness levels. Students progress at their own pace while working toward their belt gradings and personal goals.
